瑞典1955年版5欧尔硬币(收于2020年)瑞典,全称瑞典王国;位于斯堪的纳维亚半岛;北欧五国之一及北欧最大的国家;总面积约45万平方公里;人口1011万人(2018年),首都:斯德哥尔摩;享有"北方威尼斯"的美誉。国王:卡尔十六世·古斯塔夫;首相:斯特凡·勒文。瑞典为议会制君主立宪制政体。国王是国家元首和武装部队统帅,作为国家象征仅履行代表性或礼仪性职责,不能干预议会和政府工作。国王最年长子女是法定王位继承人。

Independence was regained in 1523; Sweden was forced to cede Finland after losing to Russia in 1809. Sweden remained neutral in both world wars and did not participate in the war.
